Elsi Sloan is a young queer musician and actor whose soul overflows with delicate and fragile, yet fierce and socially conscious art pop. The lyrics, sung by Elsi with a clear and powerful voice, tell stories of identity formation, the discovery of both subjective and universal truths about love, and the crises that have colored the journey. On stage, Elsi is joined by drummer Vilho Louhivuori and bass artist Saara Mänttäri.

Elsi released their debut album Pakko muuttua in 2023. The album thoroughly explores the theme of change. Thematically, it portrays the artist’s journey from being a Mormon to coming out of the closet and experiencing intoxicating freedom. Darker tones are added to the album by the constant upheaval in society and the presence of serious crises.
