“The idea for the event stems from my lifelong commitment to pacifism. I was given the honour of curating the World Village Peace Concert, and as I delved deeper into the subject, I realised that many peace organisations have had their funding withdrawn – just when they need it most. Dear Earth is a continuation of this work. With this event, we want not only to highlight the importance of peace work, but also to provide a platform for those working on conflict resolution and non-violence. We want to invite everyone – at least ethically, and if possible financially – to support this important cause.”
