NIGHTLORE – The best music breaks borders
NIGHTLORE is a professional music event in Helsinki that brings together industry experts during the day and offers concerts to a wider audience in the evening. The event will be held for the second time on August 29, 2025, at Kulttuuritehdas Korjaamo – one of the most inspiring venues in Helsinki’s music and cultural scene.
The pilot event, launched in 2024, attracted participants from Finland, Sweden, and Estonia, and featured high-profile speakers such as Tom Sherlock (UK/DK). The 2025 edition will be even broader and more international: part of the seminar program will be in English, and the performers include representatives from Roskilde Festival, Tallinn Music Week, and the Finnish music scene.
Although the event is growing, it remains a compact, one-day experience—designed to be impactful and efficient. Throughout the day, we’ll dive into some of the most pressing questions in the industry: How can we make the music industry a better place to live and work? How can marginal music thrive? What is the role of activism, environmental awareness, or exclusive contracts in today’s music landscape?
NIGHTLORE doesn’t settle for the familiar. It presents unexpected artists to buyers and offers the audience a journey into the unknown—new sounds and experiences they didn’t know they were missing. The goal is to provoke, inspire, and connect.
In 2025, the focus country is Estonia. Estonian artists interested in performing at the festival can apply through an open call by emailing johanna@saurabooking.com by the end of April.
