VIMMA delivers you energetic and powerful indie rock, spiced up with violins. The members, with their roots in environmental activism, write songs about what it feels like to witness the destruction of our planet—and what should be done about it. VIMMA’s music blends bittersweet tenderness with fierce strength in a burning world. Or more simply put: it’s incredibly good music.

VIMMA’s second album, Tornadon silmässä (Eye of the Tornado), was released in October 2023 and earned the band a nomination for the 2024 Emma Awards in the Critics’ Choice category. Their third album, set to be released in spring 2025, has already yielded one single: the folk/punk anthem Kapina on kuumaa (Rebellion is Hot).
