Emerging singer-songwriter Satu Lii’s music is both delicate and rugged. Her sunlit, golden voice and guitar-driven melodies pulse with hints of Americana, while her bittersweetly melancholic lyrics weave her songs into the fabric of the Finnish psyche. Through her music, she examines the surrounding world and lived experiences from both intimate and distant perspectives.

Satu Lii’s second full-length album, “Tähän jään”, released in 2021, became a favorite among indie music fans. Timeless tracks like “Matkamies” and “Laulua ikkunalaudalla” have found a lasting home on playlists. Her later singles — “Enemmän kuin koskaan” in 2023 and “Tää on taistelua” in 2024 — also captivated listeners and were both awarded top marks by YLE’s Levylautakunta music panel upon their release.
