Saarisalo’s music is theatrical and grandiose pop rock that strikes straight to the heart. In her songs, she explores collective themes rooted in the contradictions of the human experience: how light and shadow, fear and love take turns in the driver’s seat.

Her 2024 album Mikä meitä vaivaa? (What’s Wrong with Us?) was praised by both critics and listeners, earning nominations from Indie Co and Teosto. The album ranked 20th in Soundi’s “Best Finnish Albums of 2024” poll. Its hit single Tyrmäys x3 gained attention on TikTok and was chosen as YleX’s Track of the Week. Saarisalo’s music has been featured in outlets such as Soundi, Rumba, Savon Sanomat, Kainuun Sanomat, Yle Radio Suomi, and Radio Helsinki.

The artist’s third album, Rohkeempi, notkeempi (Bolder, More Flexible), will be released on October 31, 2025. The record delves into themes of aging, adulthood, and finding one’s own path through experiences of alienation and separateness.
